Woodstock Animal Foundation, Inc. helps shelters from all over the state of Kentucky, focusing efforts on rural Kentucky high-kill shelters to help ease their pet over-population. They rescue animals in need from those shelters, transport them to Woodstock Spay and Neuter Clinic to receive veterinary care, including spay/neuter, vaccinations, and microchip, and then network them once they are available for adoption. Woodstock has many sites where the public can view their available rescues and apply to adopt them. Adoptable pets can be found on Facebook at Woodstock Animal Foundation. We are also proud partners with several stores in the community, offering rescues available for adoption on site. In Lexington *Cats and Kittens only* can be found at PetValu in both the Palomar Center & on Euclid Ave, and PetSense in Mt. Sterling. For the Louisville area, Woodstock’s primary adoption site is the PetSmart on Westport Road, but some cats and kittens can also be found at PetSmart’s Outer Loop location.
You can have a meet and greet at any time if you send in your application. We appreciate your email and will work hard to reply as soon as possible. Your patience is greatly appreciated. We do receive a high volume of emails daily; therefore please allow up to 2 business days for a return email. We will be glad to answer any questions you may have about any of our animals available for adoption or about our rescue organization in general. The first step in our adoption process is the completion of the adoption application.
