Western Illinois Animal Rescue, Inc. (WIAR) is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We were founded in 2000 by a group of caring citizens from Warren County, Illinois who wanted to help animals in need. WIAR is a “NO KILL”organization. We do not euthanize any of the animals in our care unless it is medically our only option. We are 100% volunteer operated.

Adoption Process

If you wish to adopt an animal from WIAR please follow these steps: See what animals are up for adoption. Set up an appointment to meet the animal you wish to adopt. Fill out an Adoption Application and return to the WIAR Rescue, fax 309-715-7169 or Email to wiarrescue@yahoo.com, Monmouth Small Animal Hospital or Dan’s Body Shop. We will then review your application and contact you as soon as possible regarding your adoption.
