Welcome Home Small Animal Sanctuary - Lucerne Valley Pet Shelter

We are a Non-Profit, Tax Exempt organization that is located on seven acres in the foothills of the Big Bear Mountain range in beautiful Lucerne Valley. We have been involved in rescue for over 20 years. We have a 900 sq. ft. outside Lair. It has a solid roof for protection and shade. This provides a lifetime home for 27 rescued Feral cats who are virtually unadoptable. We also have 21 cats from Senior Citizens who have passed on and had no family to give a home to their beloved pets. They are provided with an additional 36 x 13 ft. sunroom, all of which has heat in the winter and is cooled in the summer. We specialize locally in helping Senior Citizens who are immobile and can't drive their dog or cat to the Vets office. Sometimes we provide a bag of food, change a litter box or two for "Puddy Tat", or rake up after Fido. Even Tweety Bird gets our help now and then. We house-sit pets for our clients hopsital visits as well. We work with the I.H.S. Senior Care Program in San Bernardino County by providing assistance to home-bound elders. We provide certified Hospice care for local qualified residents as well.

Somewhere along in their lives, someone had been very unkind to them. We feel that to capture them and p
