Washington German Shepherd Rescue is committed to finding loving homes for surrendered, abandoned and neglected German Shepherd dogs and puppies. We hope to ease the problem of population overflow occurring in many of our shelters, today. WGSR educates the individual on the importance of sterilizing pets and providing superior care.
Adoptions are not done on a first-come, first-serve basis. Washington German Shepherd Rescue is the companion animal's advocate and will select the most suitable home for the unique needs of each individual dog in our care. We reserve the right to refuse service and adoption without explanation. Our hours are by appointment only. If we find you to be a good match for one of our rescue animals and our adoption program, we will contact you within 72 hours. We must review your application before an appointment is scheduled--no exceptions. If you would like to adopt a dog of ours, please start by completing our application form.
