Lilla Dvoraczky (founder of WTR) felt a lifetime urge to give back to animals. On September 19, 2019, Wagging Tales Rescue was born. Lilla has saved 45 dogs (as of January 2022) with the help of dedicated foster families, sponsors, and the support of the local community. All who join the WTR rescue team have one thing in common: a passion and commitment for helping those without voices. There is a great need for rescue work in our communities and the work of rescue organizations like WTR will never end. The mission of Wagging Tales Rescue is to provide a safe haven for dogs where they receive the necessary love, care, and support they require on their journey to finding their forever families. Our rescues deserve all of the work we put into them. We know that we are only part of their journey, but an essential part of their journey, and we make long-lasting, transformative changes in their lives that turn into long-lasting, transformative relationships with their new families .
