Wagging Tails Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing homeless and abandoned dogs from high-kill shelters and owner surrenders. Our work is possible due to committed volunteers and foster homes. We provide them with loving temporary homes where they stay until they find their forever homes, we do not have a facility. We also promote responsible pet ownership, including the importance of spay/neuter, positive behavior training, and good nutrition.
All adoptions start by filling out an Adoption Application. This allows us to get to know you a bit and help match you with the best puppy/dog for your home. While it's easy to fall in love with a photo, we encourage every adopter to think about the activity level, grooming requirements and training requirements of each individual dog as part of your decision. You can meet adoptable dogs at our weekly adoption event or sometimes by appointment throughout the week. All of our dogs live with volunteer foster homes, we do not have a central facility. This allows us to get to know the personality of each dog and make successful matches.
