Underdog Pet Rescue is an all-breed companion animal rescue based out of Dane County, Wisconsin. Our mission is to find permanent homes for animals in need, and to enrich lives by strengthening the connection between animals and people through community services and outreach. SEARCH. Check out our list of current adoptables on the Adopt page. APPLY. Most of our adoptables live in foster homes, so in order to meet them you need to apply! Complete an application for the dog, cat or small animal who caught your eye. There is no cost to apply! You'll hear from us within about a week for next steps. DISCUSS & MEET. Approved applications are sent to the foster home. They'll be in touch with you to answer any questions you have and tell you more about the pet's time in foster care. If you're interested, they will schedule a meet & greet. Your meet & greet will be scheduled during one of our office hours, or at a time and place convenient to you and the foster home. ADOPT! Happy gotcha day! Adoption fees are due at this time. You'll be sent home with his/her medical records and perhaps a special toy or blanket from their foster home. Congratulations! We'll be in touch with you after the adoption to make sure things are going smoothly and support you and your new family member.
