Tri State Pet Rescue is dedicated to saving homeless animals from euthanasia and educating the public about spaying and neutering their pets.. We rescue homeless animals from high-kill animal control facilities and transport them to no-kill groups who place them into approved homes. Tri State Pet Rescue operates under 501(c)3 status as a non-profit organization. We are all volunteers and all donated funds are used toward medical expenses, food, shelter and transportation for the animals. Although small, with a limited number of volunteers, Tri State Pet Rescue is very successful in saving animals from euthanasia. Since 2007, over 6,000 lives have been saved! Currently, Tri State Pet Rescue is working with groups in New Jersey, New York, Michigan, Florida and Washington D.C., all of which have been visited and approved by our representatives.
Tri State Pet Rescue has many adoptable dogs who need homes. Each one has been given all necessary vaccinations, has been spayed/neutered, and confirmed heart worm negative before beginning a preventive regimen. Most of the dogs are also micro-chipped before they are adopted. Our group charges an adoption fee of $200 to cover the cost of the associated vet charges and micro-chipping.
