Adoption Process

Dogs - We strive to ensure that each animal goes to the home that best fits their needs and their personality. For this reason, we ask that you allow 2-3 business days to review and process each application. A member of our staff will contact you as soon as possible after the review to let you know the status of the application. In certain circumstances, for example missing information or struggles contacting references, that an application may take longer than 2-3 business days. You’re welcome and encouraged to contact us regarding the status of your application. There are times when, regardless of the approval of your application, another applicant may be selected to adopt the cat or kitten. All approved applications are kept on file for one year so even if that particular animal didn’t work to join your family, we will have your pre-approved application on file. Please complete the application form in its entirety and email it to us at tchspets@gmail.com with the animal’s name and adoption application in the subject line of the email. If you have any questions regarding the application, please contact us at 608-525-2300. Cats - We strive to ensure that each animal goes to the home that best fits their needs and their personality.
