It is the primary mission of Trap Dat Cat to control the overbreeding of community cats in New Orleans, LA through Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) and to raise awareness of and to educate the public about the community cats in New Orleans, and the problems that can occur if cats are not spayed/neutered. As a part of this mission, we also rescue and rehabilitate sick and/or injured cats, and coorinate and facilitate kitten foster and adoption for kittens unable to be returned outside.
All cats adopted through us are spayed/neutered, vaccinated (age appropriate), combo tested, microchipped, dewormed, and treated for fleas. A $100 adoption fee covers the cost of these services.
