TLC Fosters is a foster based rescue. Started and Founded by Crystal Davis-Coan “President” and her husband Timothy Coan “Vice-President” in the summer of 2014. The major differences we focus on were to be a foster based rescue and all of the animals live in homes with families. Foster based adoptions are so important because it gives everyone a chance to evaluate that animal’s behavior in an actual household rather than just sitting in a cage surrounded by other animals in cages. This way, we can try and get the right animal with the right home, thus reducing the number of pets needing to be rehomed, or coming back to the rescue. Since joining together in this endeavor, since July 2014, around 1000 animals have been adopted! This is excellent, since we are a group of just a few board members, a few foster homes for cats, dogs, bunnies and a guinea pig. We are 100% volunteer based and 100% donation.
