Timber’s Legacy, Inc. is an all-volunteer non-profit animal rescue group located in Glendale, Queens, NY. Timber’s Legacy, Inc. is an IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) organization. All donations are tax-deductible, and 100% of our funds go toward the care and placement of our animals.
As part of our adoption process, we will ask you to fill out an application and to provide references, including your veterinarian, if you have one. We will process your application as quickly as possible (usually within a few days), and then contact you to schedule a home visit. Please understand that the home visit is not intended to be nosy or intrusive! We just want to make sure our beloved kitties are going to a safe environment. Finally, if your application is approved, we will contact you to schedule delivery of the cat. At that time we will require that you sign an adoption agreement stating, among other things, that you contact us first if you ever need to give the cat up.
