The Mission of The Ranch Cat Rescue is to provide a safe environment to foundling kittens, heavily pregnant mothers, and to help cats in need become adopted into loving forever families. To assist and support TNR (trap, neuter, return) work in the Bloomington Indiana community (and beyond), advocate for cats, and help to educate the public so together we can work to save the lives of cats and kittens. The Ranch operates out of a small ranch house (hence the name!) with plans to expand to a larger country setting soon. We have dedicated spaces for cats to heal, grow, and explore. We are licensed and inspected by the City of Bloomington Animal Care and Control and adhere to all state and local laws. We are lucky to have a team of wonderful vets and vet techs that assist us with regular and rigorous care of our animals. We are funded solely on donations as we work toward becoming a 501(c)3 nonprofit. The Ranch is currently owned and operated by Alison Zook, dedicated cat advocate and trained caretaker.
