We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit no-kill animal rescue that began in 2003 with one woman’s goal to reduce the cat population in her home town. TAAS is a non-profit organization based in Randleman, NC. We help to educate communities on the importance of spaying/neutering of pets to help reduce the unnecessary suffering and killing of these animals due to overpopulation. All of our cats, kittens, puppies, and dogs are kept in loving foster homes. When adopting, we match pets to people and their families to reduce the chance of bad adoptions. TAAS volunteers are dedicated to the betterment of the less fortunate cat and dog population. Since the organization of our group in 2003, we have adopted over 1000 cats, kittens, puppies and dogs into new forever homes, and we have spayed or neutered animals into the thousands! We are very proud of our volunteers and our new parents.
If you are interested in adopting a fostered pet, please call 336-953-0925. Please click on ‘Adoption Application’ above, complete all fields and when completed, click ‘Submit’. A volunteer will contact you after we have received and reviewed your application. If approved, we will set a time to complete the Adoption Contract and other paperwork required for you to adopt our fostered pet. This process is typically completed within 3-5 days. All of our adoptable animals are spayed/neutered and given age-appropriate vaccinations prior to adoption. All animals are micro-chipped before adopted out using 24PetWatch. Adoption includes a 30-day gift of free pet insurance through ShelterCare.
