Tailwaggers 911 Dog Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3), non-profit volunteer organization dedicated to the placement of unwanted and homeless dogs in forever homes. We are committed to the prevention of dog overpopulation and neglect. We emphasize education regarding appropriate vet care, including the necessity of spaying and neutering dogs along with preventing heart worm disease. We strive to promote long-lasting and positive relationships between humans and their canine family members.
1. Completion of Adoption Application. 2. Application Processing (including background, landlord, and vet checks). 3. Board decision for approval with applicant notification via email. 4. Foster Contact (set-up time for initial meet & greet with all members of household). 5. 5 day foster-to-adopt (FTA) period. 6. End of FTA (decision made to adopt or return dog to rescue). 7. Home visit to finalize adoption, sign contracts, payment, & receive vetting paperwork.
