The first thing we want you to know is that Sundown is not a business. Sundown is a ministry. Businesses sell. Ministries give. Big difference. And as a ministry, a biblical storehouse, we are able to accept tithes, offerings, and donations because it is our responsibility to provide for our community’s less fortunate … the innocents of the land. It is a blessing to be a part of that kind of work and we take our roles in this endeavor very seriously. Every dime that comes in goes directly to the animals. Volunteers and staff do not receive compensation. They do it for love. And the Lord meets all of their needs in return for their courageous service. After starting out as a small private foundation working exclusively with multiple domestic parish rescues, we advanced throughout the years, also working with wildlife and exotics, and are now searching for 1400 plus acres needed for our nature preserve and parkland. Our preserve will serve as a refuge for domestics, wildlife, and exotic animals from all over the country. And our parkland will allow for public entertainment such as fishing, golfing, swimming, boating, camping, picnicking, hiking, social engagements, summer camp, and so much more.
