Sun Valley Animal Shelter

Sun Valley Animal Shelter, Inc. is an Arizona 501(c)3 nonprofit no-kill corporation which operates in Glendale, Arizona. We were founded in 1991 by a group of Sun City residents as a foster-based program to provide adoption opportunities for homeless and abandoned dogs and cats. Our current facility was built in 1995 and can now house over 70+ dogs and/or cats without the need to foster. We don’t receive government funding and are supported entirely by our resale shop, adoption fees, donations and bequests.
