Our Mission Statement: 1) Promoting spay and neuter of animals; 2) Seeking suitable placement for ownerless animals; 3) Promoting humane education; 4) Preventing animal cruelty and relieving suffering among animals; 5) Returning lost animals to their owners; 6) Providing euthanasia when necessary; 7) Promoting humane treatment and care of animals needing protection within the area served by the Corporation.
If you are interested in adopting one of our pets, please submit a completed Adoption Application with references. We care about our pets. We will do references checks and home visits to assure our pets are going to good homes. Adoption is a lifetime commitment and we appreciate the time and thoughtfulness you put into the decision to adopt a new family member. All dogs and cats will be spayed or neutered before adoption. Our adoption donation covers the appropriate vaccines and vetting for each pet. While our adoption application quotes the average vetting cost for our dogs, the cost may vary. If for some reason you are unable to care for the animal that you have adopted from us, you will agree to return it to ACWP, Inc.
