The SPCA of Northeastern North Carolina is an Open Admission Animal Shelter. This means that we accept every animal brought into our facility by both Pasquotank and Camden County residents, and those picked up by Animal Control. We do euthanize animals for poor health or temperament that is deemed unsafe for adoption, but we do not impose a time limit for animals and we work very hard to match each animal with a loving, forever home.
