The Southern Colorado Spay and Neuter Clinic was opened in 1997 to help pet owners have access to low cost, qualities spay and neuter surgeries thereby helping to control the problem of pet overpopulation. As of June 2017, the clinic has performed over 80,000 sterilization surgeries! But that's not all. The clinic also provides many other services to help with a pet's well being. Rabies shots, routine vaccinations, heartworm testing and other basic procedures are all available at an affordable price. Even toe nail trims! We are also proud to house an all save shelter. At our shelter and through our adoption partners at the Pueblo Petco and Pueblo PetSmart stores, we find forever homes for over 300 dogs, cats and kittens every year. Our shelter is also home to several special needs animals. These are cats and dogs requiring extra special attention. Whether diagnosed with diabetes or having physical limitations due to injury, these special souls get the extra TLC they need and hopefully, some day, will find that extra special home.
