A small group of volunteers founded Small Town Community Cats, Inc. in 2013 and registered it as a nonprofit in 2014. We work to reduce cat overpopulation via TNR (Trap-Neuter/Spay-Vaccinate-Release) in small towns across southwestern Wyoming. Our team of volunteers are dedicated to TNR but we also take care of community kitties, we rescue kitties from shelters and streets when their lives are in danger, place kitties in foster homes, provide vet care for rescue and community cats, provide transport to low cost spay/neuter clinics, and find local homes for adoptable kitties or transfer them to our partners for adoption .
Step 1: Fill out our ONLINE ADOPTION APPLICATION. Once that is complete, we will contact you within 48 hours. Step 2: If your application is approved, then we can set up a meet and greet. If you have any other animals, we can assist with introductions to make sure that they all get along. Step 3: Home check. If your application is approved, then we make an appointment to come by your house and see where your new pet will be living. We will be looking for a safe, secure, happy & healthy environment where a cat will thrive as a part of your family.
