We are a 501c3 animal rescue, made up solely of volunteers. Our primary goal is to rescue and rehome abused and abandoned animals. We strive to help local pets have a better quality of life through education and services to pets and their owners. We help direct families to affordable veterinarian services for spay/neuter, immunizations and veterinary care. We are a small, but mighty Team of volunteers. We hope you consider joining us as we save the World...one pet at a time.
Our mission is to assist every adoptable animal to find their family either through adoption or the chance of adoption by way of transport to other no-kill rescue facilities. We take every opportunity to promote pets as valued members of the family and educate families on pet care, training, grooming and nutrition. All of our pets are spay/neutered, up to date on shots (distemper/parvo) and rabies at a minimum, dewormed with a broad spectrum dewormer, been treated with a heart worm preventative and flea/tick preventative if needed. We encourage families to bring their whole family, including other dogs because a new pet is a family decision! Our adoption fees are only our vetting fees and we have a 10 day trial period to make sure the new pet fits well into the family. Within that 10 day period, you can return the pet for a full refund. Our goal is to make sure every SWAT pet finds their loving forever family; it must be a good fit for both the family and the pet. If in the future, a family finds it necessary to rehome their previous SWAT animal, we very much want to be a part of that process. We will help find the new home and monitor the success of the pet with their new family.
