Saving Graces 4 Felines

Saving Graces 4 Felines is a non-profit organization formed to help stray, abandoned, and feral cats who have no home and are left to fend for themselves in less than desirable environments. The mutual love that all members of our organization have for these wonderful animals is behind the organizing of this effort.

Adoption Process

Cats and kittens are accepted into SG4F from different avenues, such as from the public who find strays, animal control, or surrendered by owners. All cats and kittens at 2 months of age or older are spayed or neutered, tested for FIV and Feline Leukemia, treated for worms and fleas, and vaccinated before adoption. Kittens too small for spay/neuter are adopted with an adoption contract which serves as a voucher for spay or neuter of the cat through a participating veterinarian. SG4F follows up with telephone calls or home visits, when necessary, to insure the cat is spayed or neutered by 6 months of age, to document compliance with the adoption contract. The first week of each month, our cats are at the Greenville PETsMART’s Luv-A-Pet Adoption Center with adoption hours Monday-Friday, 5:00 PM- 8:00 PM; Saturday, 11:00 AM-5:00 PM; and Sunday, 1:00 PM-4:00 PM. A rigorous adoption application and interview are required of the potential adopters to insure that the cat is being placed in the appropriate environment. We are committed to rescuing and nurturing kittens and cats in the Pitt County area, with the hope of finding kind, caring people to adopt these wonderful animals.
