San Nicola Dog Rescue is a volunteer-based PACFA licensed 501(c)-3 non-profit foundation. We rescue dogs from Colorado and surrounding states and provide food, sheleter and medical care until we find permanent homes in Denver, Colorado Springs, Boulder, Vail, Greeley and other Colorado towns. We have a physical shelter which is located on a small ranch in Eastern Colorado, about 100 miles from Denver. Because of the distance we usually bring the dog to your home to meet.
To adopt, please submit the Application Form and we'll get back to you within a couple of days. Meeting the dog can be arranged either in Denver or at the ranch (about 100 mi from Denver). The dog can always be RETURNED to the rescue if it is not the right match (with full refind if returned within the first 10 days). You have to be 21 years old or older to adopt and live in CO.
