We are a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to giving dogs a second chance at a happy life. We specialize in the rescue of the Shiba Inu breed, but sometimes rescue other breeds as well. Our dogs come from many different places. Mostly, they come from shelters, puppy mills, or owner surrenders. The reasons people give up a dog vary from divorce, to loss of job, change of lifestyle, etc. We welcome you to explore this site, look at our adoptable dogs, and perhaps even make a donation!
If you’re interested in any of these adoptables please fill out an application and include their name. We will reach out to you if we have any questions! Not all dogs are available immediately. Some need to adjust, be checked, and recover from their previous experiences. Most of our dogs will be located in Vermillion Ohio, we do not ship dogs, if you are chosen you will be expected to come to our location and pick them up. Applications are not on a first come first serve basis. We go through all of our applications and try to pick the best home for each dog.
