What you can expect during the adoption process: 1. you will be required to fill out our adoption application before any other steps 2. your veterinarian and your personal references will be contacted 3. your address and home ownership will be verified or landlord will be contacted 4. once all these steps are done, we will contact you for an over the phone interview 5. Lastly, we will schedule a home visit/or an appointment for you to come to the shelter to adopt (depends on the dog and situation)
