Ruff Luck Dog Rescue is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit rescue group, licensed by Department of Agriculture in the state of Wisconsin. Our experienced and dedicated volunteers donate their time and resources to rescue, rehabilitate, foster, and re-home all breeds of homeless dogs at risk of being euthanized in local and rural kill shelters. We are supported solely through donations and fund-raising efforts. Our volunteers receive no monetary payment for their activities. Instead, we’ve all discovered the gratification of saving a life and truly making a difference.
Our dog profiles are updated regularly, but for the most detailed description of your favorite dog’s behavior/personality, contact the person listed in the dog’s bio. If you’re ready to adopt, fill out the Adoption Application completely. After reviewing your application, a volunteer will contact you for a phone interview. Not every dog is the best fit for every home. We strive to make the best match for you and our dogs. We reserve the right to a home visit prior to approval. We will let you know whether you were approved for adoption via email. If approved, you and the foster home will schedule a meet and greet. Please be prepared to take your new companion home at the time of the meet and greet. Our preferred method of payment is PayPal; we also accept cash or personal checks if agreed upon in advance. Please consider us a lifelong resource for any questions or concerns you may have with your adopted dog.
