Road Trip 4 Paws is a non-profit 501c3 organization founded in 2015. Our mission is to help reduce the homeless pet population in Texas by finding forever homes for dogs and cats through local adoptions in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. The dogs and cats in our program live in foster homes where they are loved and cared for, given all necessary medical treatment and treated as part of the family until they find their forever homes.
Step 1: If you are interested in meeting one of the pets in our program, the first step is to fill out our Adoption Application. Step 2: After we receive your application, we will review it to ensure it meets our adoption criteria and do a vet check to verify your current and past are/were up to date on vaccinations and current on heart worm preventative medication (for dogs). Step 3: After determining your home would be a good match for the pet, we will schedule a meet and greet. Step 4: If the meet and greet is successful and you would like to make the pet a part of your family, we will complete an adoption contract and collect our adoption fee. We offer a 1 week trial for all adoptions.
