The Ritchie County Humane Society is located just outside of Harrisville, West Virginia. We provide sheltering for unwanted animals in our county and also provide animal control services in conjunction with local law enforcement. We are an open admission shelter which means we do not turn animals away because of breed, age or medical condition. We accept owned and stray animals from Ritchie County.
Adopting a pet is a simple and inexpensive process at our shelter. You must fill out a short adoption form and then pay a small adoption fee. Part of the adoption paperwork is promising to get your pet spayed or neutered if not already done.
