Our mission is to stop the flow of unwanted animals into shelters that euthanize pets. Rescue Dog Village Guardian, Inc. works to reduce and aid the population of sick, unwanted or lost animals in our community and supports and encourages the positive interaction between pets and people. We assist local and out of state kill shelters and humane society’s by providing transportation, volunteers, vet care, home visits, dog assessment, and support in any way we can to place a dog in a loving forever home. These dogs deserve to live their lives with love and respect. Their bond is unbreakable, their love is never ending and they would lay down their life to protect us - we must protect them!
Complete the adoption application. This shows that you are really committed to the idea of adopting a rescue dog. You are under no obligation to adopt after filling out the form, but it allows us to begin the background work of checking your vet references and living situation to establish eligibility. If you received an email confirmation from our site, then yes, we received your application. It usually arrives within 2 minutes of submitting your adoption application. If you do not see a confirmation email, check your SPAM folder. If you still do not see it, we probably did not receive your application. We contact all adoption applicants personally within 2 business days.
