The Humane Society of Ray County is a volunteer, independent animal shelter helping dogs and cats without homes. We have no affiliation with the Ray County government. All animals accepted at the shelter are spayed or neutered before being offered for adoption. Before and after spaying or neutering we house, feed, and care for our charges until they can be adopted. All staff members are volunteers
