Our goal is to advocate for rabbits and help educate the public about their proper care and the importance of adopting, not buying while thousands, dumped on shelters or in the streets, die due to uncontrolled breeding and pet store sales (=impulse purchasing w/o researching, as well as very poor care information, promotion of too young sickly pets in an already saturated market, who will not take the rabbit back and will only replace sick ones with another, not pay for vet care). We also work to place abused or abandoned rabbits into temporary foster homes until they are ready to go to very carefully screened permanent indoor homes. All rabbits are spayed or neutered before placement, both for the health and behavior of the individual rabbit and to prevent the birth of more animals there are no homes for.
