Purralot Kitty Rescue, Inc., a feline Private Animal Shelter in Emporia, KS, is a no-kill 501 C3 non-profit organization, run by one woman, who has cared for cats and kittens for many years. This woman cares for all of the cats and kittens solo at Purralot. She has an assistant who does, photos, vaccinations, rescue coordinating, and transport with her. She uses her own money to vet each cat she takes in at the local Emporia Vet Hospital. They are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/Feline Leukemia, and vaccinated. As well as treated for worms and fleas. They are then taken to a vet so they can be checked over for any health problem(s). Finally, we work on getting them adopted into a Furever Home!
