PAWS (Providing Animals With Support) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill, volunteer animal rescue organization founded in 2003. We rescue animals who are scheduled to be euthanized due to lack of space at shelters. We place them into foster homes or at our adoption center and then into quality permanent homes. PAWS relies solely on donations and volunteers.
To begin the adoption process, we require an Adoption Application and an interview. If you own your home, we will check property records to verify. If you rent, we call your landlord to make sure you have their approval to adopt a pet. Our adoption contract states that dogs will never be chained or kept exclusively outdoors and cats are not to be declawed. We expect our animals to become part of your family! We require a $10 donation for submitting an Adoption Application. This fee does not guarantee that your application will be approved and is considered a donation. Adoption Applications are good for 6 months if none of your information has changed.
