Opened in 1997, Project Hope Humane Society strives to temporarily home animals in an environment as natural as possible. Our mission is to provide quality care for our animals daily until they find their forever home.
1. Visit the shelter. Whether you saw a specific animal online, or you are just beginning your search--the first step is to come to the shelter and walk through our dog and cat areas. Bring the family for a meet-and-greet! Visit, go for a walk, belly scratches, you name it! 2. Talk to us. Now that you're here, talk to our friendly staff. They are here to help you make your decision. Wondering how a certain animal will interact with your kids or current pet? Ask us! Schedule a time to bring them in too! 3. Apply. If you have decided to adopt, you will need to fill out an adoption application. For your convenience, we have added the adoption forms below. Feel free to download, print, & complete your application from home. We also have applications at the shelter. After we have your application our staff will review it to make sure it's a purr-fect fit! 4. Happy tails. After your application is approved, you will pay the adoption fee and receive information about your pet.
