We are a foster home-based Non-Profit 501c3, dog rescue based in Western New York. We rescue stray, neglected, abandoned, and surrendered dogs. We work very hard to place them in new loving homes. We operate through volunteers and donations, relying on social media to stay connected. The volunteers working with the rescue transport animals, serve as foster families, coordinate adoptions and much more. Without them and their countless hours of service, Pixie Mamas Rescue could not exist.
We require an adoption application, a veterinary reference (if applicable), and a home visit. Unfortunately, we are unable to adopt out of state (including Canada) or over 1 1/2 hours away from Buffalo, NY. We do not ship dogs. You must be willing to come to the Buffalo NY area to complete the adoption after the home visit. The decision to place a dog in a home rests with the Foster home and Pixie Mamas Board. We only have the best interests of the animal at heart and we know best that animal's needs and temperament. Pixie Mamas Rescue reserves the right to approve or deny your application without explanation. Applications are kept on file for 1 year. You do not need to reapply within that year unless your information has changed.
