Phelps County Animal Rescue was created by a group of concerned citizens who came together to improve the lives of neglected and homeless animals in the Phelps County area. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit, NO-KILL shelter that is run completely by volunteers who strive to ensure that each animal finds a loving permanent home. We are located in Saint James, Missouri and serve all of Phelps County and surrounding areas. Our goal is to provide all animals in our rescue with proper vet care, including vaccinations, dewormer, flea prevention and spay/neuter services when possible, before they are sent to their forever homes. Phelps County Animal Rescue is devoted to advocating for animals and helping educate the community about spay/neuter programs, disease prevention, and responsible pet ownership.
