PUP Dog Rescue is a volunteer driven, 501(c)(3) registered, non-profit organization located in Washington state and specializing in shelter animals from high-kill areas. We work in collaboration with shelters, other rescue groups, and individuals; both locally and nationally, to save countless dogs and cats from homelessness and euthanasia. PUP does not purchase dogs or cats nor do we charge a fee for surrendering one. Our fosters begin the work of house training, crate training, and leash training to facilitate a smooth transition for our pets as they move into their new homes. We work cooperatively with potential adopters to make the best possible match. PUP serves as an ongoing resource post adoption, providing guidance to our adopters should issues arise. We value the vital relationships we have established with quality vets and trainers.
PUP is dedicated to finding the best homes possible for the dogs and cats in our care. Our commitment to potential adopters is to provide accurate, up-to-date information regarding the health and behavior of our pets. We strive to make each match a success based on the needs and personality of the dog and the preferences and requirements of each potential adopter. We talk with potential adopters and arrange for meetings once their applications are approved and they seem to be the best match for a particular dog or cat. Meetings with our pets are scheduled at a mutually agreeable time and location or at one of our adoption events. Please visit our Facebook page for information on our next event. All members of the family, including current dogs, must meet to help ensure a good match before the adoption of one of our dogs can occur.
