Paw Crazy was born on April 20, 2015, when five women who rescue animals on their own, decided to come together as a team. Individually, we did everything as a rescue would and we decided we could make a huge impact on society and all of the homeless and forgotten animals if we worked together. Paw Crazy is dedicated to the rescue and adoption of unwanted pets ensuring vaccinations, spay/neuter and humane treatment of animals including educating others about the overpopulation of homeless pets. Paw Crazy believes that by spaying and neutering animals it will significantly lower the population of homeless pets. It is our vision to make every animal we rescue into great lifetime companions. We hope that one day euthanasia in this nation will only be used in those cases where it is truly serving to give a humane end to an animal that would otherwise suffer a painful death.
Step 1. Send in your adoption application. We work to match the dogs and cats in our care with the best applicant possible. This process is not a first come, first served basis. If more than one applicant applies for the same animal, we will carefully choose who we believe to be the best fit for the applicant and the animal being applied for. Submit your completed application to [email protected] We aim to review apps within 48 hours then we will get you in contact with the foster family if you are approved. Step 2. Schedule a meeting with the foster family. Once your application is approved, we will schedule a meet and greet with the family fostering the animal of interest. All members of the adopting family must be present. If you have other pets, a meet and greet with them is required, as well. Step 3. Arrive at the meeting prepared! If the foster family or the Paw Crazy representative approves of the adoption at the end of your meeting, you'll be allowed to take the dog or cat home with you for a trial adoption of 7 days. Come prepared with a leash and collar for dogs or a carrier for cats. A home visit from a Paw Crazy Representative is also required prior to taking the animal home. Step 4. Receive adoption paperwork. You'll receive their official adoption contract and vaccination/medical history through email after the 7 day trial adoption is completed. The adoption fee is only refundable within the trial period. Should you choose to end the trial early and return the animal or return the animal after the trial adoption period, the adoption fee is no longer refundable.

We do this because we noticed a growing need in our area for small displaced pets to have somewhere to go when they were no longer wanted or lifestyle's changed and the original owner could no longer properly care for them.

Save A Mom is a 501(c)3 non profit, all volunteer organization. We rescue pregnant dogs, newly whelped litters and orphan pups that were destined for euthanasia. We are not breed specific. As long as there is space and the funds to care for them, we pull from any pound or shelter. We rely on adoption fees and donations to provide for the dogs in rescue.
