We are a North Carolina 501(3)(c) non-profit organization striving to provide a better life for local animals. While our primary mission is assisting with the cost of spaying and neutering to reduce the number of animals euthanized in shelters, we are also dedicated to “Helping the Helpless”. We educate the community about humane and responsible pet ownership and help needy pets by providing dog and cat food from our Pet Pantry. Our New Leash on Life program through the Pamlico Correctional Institution is over 2 years old and has found homes for over 60 shelter dogs.
