Outrider Dogs was founded in 2019 as a not for profit organization with the sole mission of helping dogs in need. We are comprised of two different but interrelated Departments. The first, led by canine behavioral specialist Ben Garson of Dogology (dogologyct.com), is to take dogs in need of behavioral rehabilitation into our care with the goal of changing their associations and behavioral patterns in order to someday re-integrate them into their previous home or a new more suitable one. The second, run by Rikki Garson of Quarry Dog Daycare (Quarrydogdaycare.com), is to rescue, foster, and adopt out dogs who despite their best behavior have found themselves without a family. There are many other people involved in Outrider who make it possible for us to do the work we do, from trainers, to fosters, to volunteers, and financial supporters.
