OPIN (Outreach to Pets in Need) was co-founded by shelter volunteers and is an all-volunteer registered 501(c)(3) non-profit. Our mission is to promote adoption of homeless animals, and to provide assistance to pets in need through medical treatment, training, and education. We provide solutions to prevent pet homelessness. OPIN supports Stamford CT pets through a suite of welfare services.
Once you have selected the pet you wish to bring into your home forever: 1. Fill out the appropriate application form. 2. We will review your application and do a home check. 3. Upon approval, we will schedule a time time for you to sign the necessary paperwork and to pay the adoption fee, and we will and give you a Welcome Kit, including two private sessions with our trainer.
