Odies Place - Dartmouth Pet Shelter

Odies Place

Odie’s Place Animal Rescue was established by Brian and Kerrie Harrington and a close-knit group of animal welfare supporters in 2014. The rescue was named in honor of Otis, Brian and Kerrie's beloved shelter dog that passed away in January that same year. The ultimate goal is to build an amazing sanctuary for homeless animals, to give them a second chance at the life they deserve.

Adoption Process

The first step towards being paired with your new family member is to complete our adoption application. We do require all adopted dogs to receive mandatory training. A representative from Odie's Place will review your application and touch base with you shortly after submission. From there, we will work with you to match you with the best pet for you! Our process includes checking veterinarian and personal references, a home visit and a meet and greet with the animal you are interested in.
