Located in Punta Gorda, we are a 501(c)(3)Non-profit organization. I provide rescue to neglected, abandoned, and abused dogs. This dog shelter aims to provide care and rehabilitation to dogs and rehome them to their fur-ever homes.
Anyone interested in adopting are required to complete an application before setting up a meet and greet. Before finishing the adoption contract, we have a 14-day foster to adopt trial to ensure the dog is a perfect fit for the home and family. We prefer to only adopt locally in SWFL. Almost all dogs are housed at Nykol’s Rescues but occasionally we do use foster homes if they are available.
