No Place Like Home Animal Rescue - Tracy Pet Shelter

"No Place Like Home Animal Rescue" is an organization that strives to reduce the euthanasia in our local Northern California shelters by rescuing adoptable animals from shelters and finding them new forever homes with families that will care for them for the rest of their lifes. Through the wonderful and talented dedication of our volunteers, "No Place Like Home Animal Rescue" searches local shelters for those animals that are adoptable and deserve their second chance. All of our animals once rescued by our volunteers from a shelter are cared for through a "Foster" care program. The animal is given love, food, shelter and is socialized with other animals and humans until their new perfect home can be found. "No Place Like Home Animal Rescue" believes in Spay and Neutering for all pets. Spay and Neutering has a lifetime of benefits. Spaying or neutering your pet not only helps curb pet overpopulation, it reduces the number of animals every year in shelters that end up being euthanized. In addition, spaying and neutering your pet reduces the risk of succumbing to many health problems. All animals adopted through "No Place Like Home Animal Rescue" WILL be Spayed or Neutered prior to the adoption of the pet to any new family or home. In the rare instance that an animal that you fall in love with is not Spayed or Neutered prior to your decision to adopt (due to age or health reasons) the animal will NOT be released from our rescue until the surgery has been done. At "No Place Like Home," we also know that things happen in the lifes of people, we will also rescue those animals needing surrendered by a family that can no longer care for them as long as the animal is adoptable to a new family.
