NESAA Mission: To advocate, protect and rescue, abandoned and abused animals using a proactive, humane approach. We are committed to our "no kill" programs, increasing community awareness and creating progressive changes in animal welfare. As a “no-kill” organization, NESAA has a no-exceptions spay/neuter policy, which is incorporated into and drives every program implemented by the organization. NESAA believes that by using aggressive spay/neuter policies and focusing efforts on curtailing the increase in the population of cats, both domestic and feral, and then in reducing their populations, this will result in residents with healthier pets and Cape Cod with a much lower number of feral cat colonies and abandoned animals that are breeding.
