New Digs For Dogs is a not for profit 501c3 rescue organization located in North Haverhill, NH. All of our dogs live in foster homes while they wait for friendly, caring and fun families (like you!) to adopt them. To date, the rescue has found homes for over 425 dogs in need. Will you be our next?
The first step in the adoption process is the completion of the Adoption Application. Please know that finding a Rescued Dog a new forever home is our mission, however not all applicants will be accepted as an adoptive home. Our dogs are never adopted on a "first-come, first-served" basis. Instead, we strive to make the best possible match between our adoptable dogs and the applicants based on the dog's personality, special needs (if any) and the lifestyle and experience of the potential adopter. While your desire for a dog is important to us, the need for a well-matched home for our dogs comes first. We take the placement of our dogs as serious business. Upon receiving your application we will review it to ensure that the dog is a good match for you and your lifestyle. You will be contacted by a rescue member for further information. An interview, and possibly a home visit will be required before an adoption can be finalized. The adoption contract and an adoption donation is the final step in our adoption process. We request this fee to help defer the cost for medical or any other expenses incurred while we prepared this dog for adoption. Once these steps have been successfully completed, you will be able to take your new best friend home!
