A rescue network of dedicated foster homes and volunteers serving Meriden, CT, and the surrounding areas. New Beginnings and Forever Homes (NBFH) is a subprogram of Rescue Dog Village Guardian, Inc. A 501C3 Tax Exempt Non-Profit Organization. Our volunteers have over 30 years of experience in the animal care field and believe in the No Kill Philosophy. We are dedicated to rescuing animals left homeless, in need of re-homing for whatever reason, and those in danger of abuse or neglect. We have no age restrictions and provide quality medical care to every animal. We also have a very successful Trap, Neuter and Release Program that has assisted over 22 families and businesses and 736 cats. We place animals in loving, responsible, committed and permanent homes. We take considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities of bringing an animal into their homes and lives.
