Naja Foundation was founded in 2015 to facilitate the rescue and adoption of Salukis worldwide. We have outstanding partners in the UAE and Kuwait who are the first line of rescue. Together we work towards finding forever homes throughout the US and Canada for our rescued Salukis. When adopting a rescue Saluki through us, everything is arranged for the dog. They have all required Veterinarian certificates for both the country of origin and the country in which you reside. They are spayed/neutered and up to date on all vaccinations. Because we do not operate a shelter, all rescues are housed with a foster until they’re adopted. This allows them an opportunity to get acclimated to life inside a home, socialize with other pets, be tested with children and small animals, and work towards building confidence as well as identify any possible behavior issues. This also means we would only ever have to face the difficult decision of euthanasia in the rarest, extreme cases. We are a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.
