The Montgomery County Animal Resource Center is a 24,000-square-foot open admission companion animal shelter. As part of our service to the citizens of Montgomery County, our agency takes in thousands of dogs each year. In addition to direct adoptions, the Animal Resource Center works with the Humane Society of Greater Dayton and the SICSA Pet Adoption Center along with many placement partners to find homes for as many animals as possible.
1. View our available dogs for adoption on our PetHarbor page. 2. Meet with our pets available for adoption with the assistance of a staff member. 3. Be sure to ask lots of questions. Our adoption counselors are here to make sure you and your pet are a good match before you take a dog or cat home with you. 4. After you select your new addition, you’ll complete our Adopter Survey and review and sign the Pet Adoption Agreement.
